Small Group Ministry ~ Knowing, Growing, Living

Our congregation has now launched small group ministry.  We have trained two classes of small group leaders and small groups are meeting each week.  Our Small Group Leaders are gifted and committed people from our congregation who help their group members feel welcomed, cared for and included in this ministry.  They organize activities that help group members grow in faith and discipleship.  Please call the church office for more information about leaders, dates and times.

Our Small Group Ministry needs your help to become established, grow and thrive in our congregation.  Here are some ways for the entire congregation to be a part of the ChristCare Small Group Ministry at FPC.

  • Pray for our small group leaders & trainees as they prepare to lead transformational small groups. Ask God to guide, bless, inspire and control our Small Group Ministry so that all we do will bring glory to Jesus.

  • Prayerfully consider applying to be a small group leader. Serving as a Group Leader will give you the opportunity to help people who want to grow in faith and in relationships with one another.  If you are feeling a nudge from God toward new growth in your own Spiritual life and ministry, consider serving as a Small Group Leader.  This may be just what God has planned for you.  Training will start again in Fall 2011.   • As our Small Group Ministry grows, be prepared to join a small group and experience the love of Christ with and through other group members.  Whether you’ve just joined our congregation or have been a faithful member all your life, you’ll be able to join a Small Group that’s right for you. SmallGroups are places of consistent care, prayer, study and fellowship designed to increase our level of Christian commitment. Please look for more details in the coming months as we make steady progress toward building our Small Group Ministry.
